The HYER Ritual

Prepare + Recover

A few simple steps before and after your infusion, so you get the most out of it.

BeforePreparing for your infusion
  • Eat a light meal within a few hours of your visit. Arriving on an empty stomach can leave you lightheaded.
  • Start hydrating early. Drink water the day before and the morning of. It makes your veins easier to find and your infusion more comfortable.
  • Try to avoid alcohol for 24 hours before and after your IV to get the most out of it. (Booking Hangover Relief? Come as you are.)
  • Keep warm. A comfortable, cozy room helps your veins, and you, relax. Turn up the heat and grab a blanket if your space runs cool.
  • Wear something comfortable with sleeves that roll up easily.
  • Clear your schedule. Your visit is unhurried, so plan to stay put for the full appointment window.
AfterRestoring after your infusion
  • Keep drinking fluids. Your IV supplements your daily hydration; it doesn’t replace it.
  • Try to avoid alcohol for 24 hours to get the most out of your IV.
  • Skip the sauna, hot tub, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Let your body absorb and settle.
  • Your bandage: we remove the outer wrap before we leave. Keep the small gauze dressing on for 1–2 hours, then you can take it off.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is mobile IV therapy?

IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, and nutrients directly into your bloodstream. Because it bypasses the digestive system, your body absorbs them more fully, helping you rehydrate, recover, and feel better faster. Mobile IV therapy brings that care to your home, office, hotel, or event. Every infusion is administered by a registered nurse.

What should I expect during my mobile IV visit?

Come exactly as you are. There’s no need to clean up, entertain us, or prepare your home for your appointment. Kids, pets, work-from-home chaos and real life are all welcome. Mobile care is meant to meet you where you are.

Once your IV is started, the time is yours. Watch TV, work, read, nap, scroll, or enjoy a quiet appointment. If you’d rather chat with your nurse, that’s welcome too.

You can also choose how much space you’d like during your infusion. Your nurse can stay with you, sit nearby, or give you privacy while remaining available and monitoring your treatment. Some clients simply text when their infusion is nearing completion.

Quiet appointments are always welcome. You never need to feel like you have to entertain your nurse.

Does getting an IV hurt?

Most people feel only a quick pinch when the IV is placed and are surprised by how little discomfort there is. Once your IV is in, you should be able to relax comfortably during your infusion.

If needles make you nervous, just let your nurse know. We’re happy to slow things down, talk you through it, or keep the whole process as low-key as possible.

I booked my appointment. What happens next?

Right after booking, scroll down on the confirmation page and tap Complete Registration to finish your brief consents and health questionnaire. You'll also get an email and text with a link to your patient portal. If you don't see the email, check your spam or junk folder. This lets my medical director and me safely prescribe and treat.

Then take a look at Prepare + Recover so you know how to get ready.

Where do you provide services?

We offer mobile-only IV appointments, coming to you anywhere in the Portland metro and Vancouver area. A travel fee of $50 or more may apply to locations outside our service area.

How long is a visit?

Most vitamin IVs are booked as 90-minute appointments. NAD+ Cellular Reset sessions typically last 2–4 hours, depending on pacing and individual response.

Every visit is intentionally unhurried. We never rush an infusion, so please plan to keep your schedule open for the full appointment window, with time to settle in, ask questions, and simply relax.

What IV should I choose?

Call or text 971-361-6922 for a free phone consultation, or choose the Customized IV drip and we'll create a personalized blend that meets you where you are.

Is IV therapy right for me?

Every treatment is subject to clinical assessment and suitability. Your nurse reviews your health history before any infusion, and most people can still enjoy an IV tailored to them.

Allergies, MTHFR + health conditions

We tailor every IV to you. Before every infusion, your nurse reviews your health history, allergies, medications, and any known gene variants, and adjusts the formula as needed. A few examples of what we look for:

  • MTHFR variants: we use hydroxocobalamin, a naturally occurring form of B12 that’s generally well tolerated, and avoid cyanocobalamin, the synthetic form many people with MTHFR variants prefer to skip.
  • G6PD deficiency: high-dose vitamin C can cause red blood cells to break down (hemolysis) in people with G6PD deficiency, so we’ll adjust or leave it out.
  • Heart or kidney conditions, or pregnancy: please let your nurse know before booking. Fluids and minerals may need adjusting, and in some cases an IV may not be the right fit.

If you’re unsure, text 971-361-6922 before booking and we’ll talk it through.

Can I book for a group or event?

Yes, and we love them. Groups of two or more receive a group discount. Call or text 971-361-6922 to check availability.
